Edit: Please don't get me wrong. I see myself as an equalist and I'm not going against female rights here or anything.

Something amusing happened today. I reported my first youtube video copyright violation. None other than (in)famous feminist crusader Anita Sarkeesian (if you don't know her, consider yourself very lucky) shanghaied me into the fray by using an old illustration of Nate in one of her videos, showing him next to Lara from Tomb Raider Legend. I despise the idea that one of my works is used to scrutinize one of my most beloved video game characters ever and without even asking my permission.
I know Nate is definitely circling through the endless Interwebs ever since my 3-4 days of fame when he took Tumblr, Twitter and whatnot by storm and 99% of those images surely come without proper credit. However, that does not mean the image became open property.

We'll see where it goes. The report has been filed.

The - very old - illustration in question was this one:

Wow I just saw this: 9gag.com/gag/aq5OOAM
And went to come and tell you that no one posted credit and thought you should know... was not aware this was an on going, reposting of 0 credit kind of issue D: Geez man that is lame ...

I posted a link to your deviantART on that 9GAG to link back to you (since the poster didn't).

Also ... female IRL ... I like sexy female characters, yes I wish there were more men running around in slutty armor, but that's whatever. Sadly the major demographic for video games IS MEN even though women are started to even up the playing field ... games just are too busy pandering to one audience to attempt to pander to another. And that's fine. There are also games where you can put men in all the same scantily clad armor as the ladies, it's fine with me. It's just a video game... it's just pixels.
